Google Plus is seen as Google's attempt to play catch-up with Facebook, but many of its users feel that they can use it as a job finder. They feel that as you can talk directly to influential people on Google Plus, and as early users are more open, the network can be used as a job finder. It can function as a job finder because users can interact one-on-one with industry leaders.
Google Plus is not a natural job finder, but its smart search capabilities allow you to find people on the basis of their interests, jobs, industry and views. Career networking becomes possible as you have a greater control over your content, and the wealth of information on Google Plus makes it a great job finder for users connected with industry leaders.
