The Qatar Career Fair attracted many Qatari citizens who are looking for enhanced job stability and career development. Most of the fair attendees are presently employed but were looking for opportunities to utilize their skills in more competent and efficient job opportunities.
Examples of job seekers at the career fair included those with business degrees and jobs in the finance sector, as well as engineers and computer technicians. This year's career fair was held under the theme "Write the next chapter in the success of Qatar", and was jointly organized by the Emiri Diwan, Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar University and the Ministry of Labour. The five-day even features a number of activites including competitions like the Career Photography competition and the Career Stories competition.
