Tasti D-Lite, a US frozen yoghurt franchise is all set to open its first store in Australia. The New York-based Fro-Yo franchise, which was established in 1987, has a huge market in the United States and in other countries as well, and is very popular for its healthy frozen yoghurt. The franchise also has a strong campaign promoting its low fat and low calorie products. Tasti D-Lite has confirmed that it will open its first Australian store in Melbourne, on Chapel Street. This operation is to take place by the end of August, and the franchise has further plans of opening at least 30 chains all across Australia by the end of five years. MD of Tasti D-Lite Australia, John Crawford believes that the franchise will catch on quick with the latest Oz health fad helping its cause.
